The demo is running and Early Access is in sight - Envision already announces further plans

While the Open Demo for Pioneers of Pagonia is running with a consistently positive feedback, Envision Entertainment announces further plans for Early Access and the upcoming quarters.

The first challenges will be added to the game on December 13, 2023 - the demo was intentionally simple until now. This has given users a chance to extensively test and experiment with the structure, while at the same time collecting even more data and feedback for optimizing the game.

Many will be pleased with goals such as:

  • Neutral factions
  • Various orders
  • More discoveries

 

Envision is still deliberately sparing with details here.

Also, regarding the topic of "conflict and combat", for many of the players who are enthusiastically waiting for Early Access in December, there are corresponding announcements.

This aspect of the game is extremely important, especially for many of the previously disappointed Settlers 3 and 4 fans, who place their hopes very much on PoP and corresponding challenges.

A PVP mode is not planned, at least not at the moment, and it is difficult to imagine how it could be integrated into the game. But the co-op mode will also have to wait until quarter 1 in 2024.

Thus, for the time being, the combat will be limited to the single-player mode ...

Because if there's one thing you can achieve for sure, it's an incredible mass of pioneers scattering through the villages you've built yourself, carrying goods, shoveling, building, working and much more. So let's be surprised what Volker Wertich and his team will put under our Christmas tree.

But there's no game without a suitable map. Currently, you still have to make do with three pre-made islands, which are included in the demo in different difficulty levels.

But thanks to the ample starting resources, all maps are easy to master. However, this will certainly change significantly for the EA. Then it will be possible to set the difficulty level of the desired map yourself.

and other points will provide significantly more headwind. This way, everyone can set the gaming experience in advance that they want later on.
